I was using another brand for a few years and never had an issue with it until one day, no matter what I did, the ink would run. I was so annoyed and thought I was the problem. I decided to give this paper a try after seeing tiktok videos and I am so glad I did! I sprayed 2 clear coats (letting them each dry in between), then I sprayed 1 coat of plastidip clear and finally another round of clear coat. I placed it in room temperature room and just placed it on my tumbler with no issues. I was done with my project within 2 mins. I will definitely be purchasing more.I have used this decal paper several times and will continue to use it. It’s a great way to add custom graphics to my RC projects!Mirror your imageIt's very hard to work withI heard of this waterslide decals and decided to dig a little deeper into it. Started watching YouTube videos on tutorials on how to use. So I tried it. Ordered this product and looks exactly like photo paper. Printed a couple of decals and sprayed them with clear spray paint to seal. This product is great to use I don’t have anything bad to say about itI rarely use white waterslide, but Hayes is the only one I use.I prefer the other one that I ordered but this one worked fineWe have been using these for a few months on tumblers. (For both white & clear waterslides) BEFORE CUTTING we spray 2-3x with clear coat. Then cut the image or else it will not release from the backing as the sealer will have sealed the edges. We put water on the smooth epoxy surface, warm water in a bowl and place the image in the warm water for 30-45 seconds, place the image in the vicinity of where you want it, slide it slightly off the paper, use thumb to hold the slid portion onto the cup and slowly remove the backing behind the image. slide the image in place and then squeejee the excess water out from behind with a silicone brush. set down and dont touch! dont place transfer tape over it, it will get ruined. If you dont like the image take it off imminently otherwise your in for some scrubbing. If you do need to take it off after dry, use a scrubby with the image held under water for the slide to turn into goo again.Our attempt at using acrylic sealer did not seal the ink in very well and it was too flimsy to really use-turned into goo. Using clear coat is better to stiffen it up.Bought this for a project I was making as a gift for my sister, 1st time I have ever used it and only found out about the water slide paper by accident, so complete newbie, YouTube is your friend with this product with a wealth of information & application tips/tricks. my first attempt worked out great, now I have 19 more A4 sheets to use "bonus". delivery was fine with amazon prime, although I did have to weigh the paper down to make it flat again before use, due to the amazon delivery driver bending the package to fit through my letterbox not ideal and could have easily damaged the paper. The colour printed better than expected (make sure you set your printer to highest photo glossy setting) I applied 3 coats of clear lacquer and left to dry over night before applying to my project.I printed photo in high quality and on gloss paper settings as stated in instructions and it smudged on paper cleaned heads did a sample on paper it was good printed on water slide paper and smudged again I TrueDepth this 8 times all smudged, I though I would try and transfer on to a mug sprayed 3 times with acrylic sealer and picture would not come off paper it was in water for 10 mins and I had to peel off as only one corner had lifted off what went wrong ? I trued this a few times to no avail.Excellent easy to use and they seem to work well. Arrived on time and in excellent conditionPrinted with inkjet. Two very light and two slightly heavier coats of spray clear acrylic and the decals slide off with water after few seconds. Work really well for modellingBrilliant and does a great job
