Just got this today, so I had to test it out! First, I cut a circle and was really impressed! There were no jagged lines and as long as I put enough pressure down, the paper stayed in place. But, the project I got this for has a specific circumference and is pre-printed; so that's the REAL test. It didn't fail miserably, but it did take me several minutes to get it just right.Pros: Cuts great for larger circles, light weight, didn't slip, the pin for centering just barely touched the paper and didn't leave a mark (if that's important for you). The blade retracts and is stored safely when not cutting.Cons: It was difficult to line up the center because the pin is hard to see, my circle isn't very large, so the handle to hold down the cutter and the handle to spin and cut is very close; my hands kept getting in the way and I'd accidently lift the cutter and lose the center...If you have a pre-printed project like mine or you're cutting smaller circles, you might want to use an adhesive board or just get a puncher.It cuts perfect circles. It is awkward to use especially for small circles and it can be hard on the fingers because you have to hold the safety button to push the blade down. I would either use it on the back of or put some wax paper in between it and the piece you are working on because it did scratch the stickers I was cutting out. A cutting mat underneath is a must as well. Once you cover all your bases and get the hang of it it works pretty good as long as you make enough passes to cut through. I used it for vynal stickers that had a laminate over it and it worked fine got clean edges as long as I went over it a couple of times.Purchased to cut out an image 11x11 was not able to successfully do soI bought it for cutting gasket material.
